Gonarch retreats to cave, we both fall and it catches the net while we fall through it. If the player has problems with defeating the creature, they can shoot from the pit, where it is safe, but I was fighting it on the surface using longjump + shotgun. It’s more dangerous here, because the place is smaller and it’s possible to fall in the pit. We go out of the cave and find ourselves in another beautiful landscape. If we try to go back, we will be killed by the cave collapse. The baby headcrabs are small and hard to hit, but the Alien Grunt’s Hand works well against them, because its projectiles are homing. We need to shoot at the creature for some time, and then it will run from us, destroying the net which blocks the cave in the process. A big creature is going out of the cave, and soon we will find out where the headcrabs are coming from.
In the first phase, we found ourselves in the beautiful Xen landscape.
